A part of 4/20: A Queer, Crip Celebration of Herbs Including and Beyond Cannabis
Presented by Stoned & Fruity and DisabiliT4T
Vendors | Workshops | T4T Stoner Speed-Connections | Games | Crafting | & more!
Event Info:
“As disabled and chronically ill queer folks, we turn to herbs to soothe, heal, and nourish ourselves, especially when the medical industrial complex fails us. As herbalists and herb-appreciators, we turn to each other to share knowledge, ideas, and histories. As stoners, we turn to cannabis to ease our bodies, minds, and spirits and to help us socialize. As abolitionists, we fight to liberate everyone incarcerated for cannabis-related "crimes." For all these reasons and more, we gather to connect, learn, take action, and celebrate the magic of plants!”
Workshop Info:
What does herbal justice look like to you? How do we weave mutual aid and access into our herbalism practices and business structures while maintaining sustainability? How can we balance a need to survive capitalism with a desire to give freely to our communities? Who do we owe reparations to in our work? Crafting Herbal Care Networks is a community conversation guided by sunday martinez of Serenus Herbs. Please bring your practical questions on mutual aid in herbalism and your preferred method of journaling tools!
ACCESSIBILITY:
This virtual event will take place on Gather.town, an interactive platform that mimics the experience of in-person gathering. Each person navigates the virtual event space with an avatar. Communication formats include video, audio, and chat.
All presentations/workshops will be interpreted in ASL.
We will provide instructions for enabling live captioning and, as always, we will read the chat out loud so silent participants are included in group conversation.
If there's anything else you need to make the event feel safer or more accessible to you, PLEASE let us know!
You can indicate additional access needs when you buy your ticket, and you can also reach out to disabilit4t@gmail.com or @disabilit4t on Instagram.
Pandemic Solidarity for the Long Future

A Virtual Convening for Black, Brown, Indigenous, Asian, and Pacific Islander Kin Who Give a F#ck
“Within the context of eugenics, ableism, and white supremacy, a COVID Cautious event led by racialized TGNC folks, women, disabled folks, and youth allows us to lead conversations that truly center our dreams of a world of community care. We have a right to have access to clean air and protection from deadly diseases, and we believe we can achieve that goal together.
We are creating a COVID Cautious principled political framework grounded in Black liberation, anti-capitalism, anti-imperialism, anti-colonialism and anti-eugenics that individuals, institutions, and movement organizations can use to inform, assess, and transform the way they work.
Please note: All convening attendees, art gallery participants, facilitators, performers, and vendors must fall under our definition of a Black, Brown, Indigenous, Asian, and Pacific Islander (BBIAPI) umbrella.
Folks who are white and recognize themselves as “white-passing,” “white-presenting,” or “white-assumed” are not welcome at this convening. We ask that you honor and support the container we are seeking to build together.
Our convening will take place in GatherTown. This will be a virtual event that will take place from March 8th-March 10th, 2024.”

Sick and Disabled Zine & Craft Fair (SAD Fair) 2023
Sunday June 18- Saturday June 24, 2023
Virtual
The Sick and Disabled Zine & Craft fair is a 100% virtual craft fair by and for the chronically ill, disabled, mentally ill, and neurodivergent community. Shop over 50 vendors for one week only June 18-24 by visiting our website www.sadfair.com.
“One of the world’s first virtual zine & craft fairs centering Disabled artists! The Sick And Disabled Zine & Craft Fair (SAD Fair) is a grassroots week-long virtual craft fair centering disabled, chronically ill, MAD, and neurodivergent zinesters and artists from around the world. Now in its fourth year, this access-centered craft fair will feature free live events, workshops, virtual "tables", and a virtual sensory room. This event is open to ALL! Allies are welcomed and encouraged to attend!
This fair is for people to display their work and build community, in a space that pushes back against popular narratives of illness and disability being inspirational or sad. The fair is free to attend, with free crafting and learning opportunities, as well as plenty of low cost zines and art to buy.
Accessibility is important to us, this includes keeping prices reasonable so everyone can enjoy the fest and bring something home with them. The fair will be trans inclusive and run by majority queer and trans, sick and disabled folks.”
